Compsn. for regulating growth and development of plants comprises, apart from a filler, an oxadiazine deriv. of formula (I). In (I) Ar is phenyl opt. substd. by CH3 cert. butyl, NO2 or by 1 or 2 halo; R is H, CH3 chlorophenyl or 2,4-dichlorobenzoyl; R' is H, 1-3C alkyl or phenyl; proviso. is that when Ar is unsubstd. phenyl, R is 2-3C alkyl (sic) and R' cannot be H. Pref. compsns. contain 2-80wt.% (I). (I), which are new cpds., have a broad spectrum of activity, high effect at low application rate, and low toxicity to plants or warm-blooded animals. They accelerate the growth and ripening of cereals and vegetables, and improve yields.
