PURPOSE:To omit troublesome return operations of a steel ball by automatically circulating the steel ball by a method wherein a tube communicated to a steel balls passing hole of a bolster is faced on a guide hole into which a punch is inserted, and the steel balls are discharged to the guide hole by the punch. CONSTITUTION:The punch 12 is fixed to a ram 11 of the burnishing machine and the bolstr 15 is fixed below the punch. A holder 16 receiving a ring plate 23 which is a worked pied is erected on the bolster 15. The tube 39 having two annular holes 39a formed on both sides is fixed adjacently to the bolster 15 through a bracket, the lower end of the tube 39 is communicated to a hole 35 of the bolster 15 and the holes 39a, 35 inside are filled with the steel balls 29. The ram 11 descends and each punch 12 contacts to the steel balls 29 and passes through the hole to accomplish the burnishing finish. A force acts on the steel ball 29 trying to return to a chamber 33 due to the gravity, however, a stopper pin 36 restricts the steel ball 29 to be discharged to the chamber 33. |
