发明名称 FREQUENCY CONTROLLING METHOD FOR THICKNESS SLIP QUARTZ OSCILLATOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To minimize the variation of equivalent inductance, by providing a frequency controlling electrode having a larger area than the main electrode on one of the said main electrode. CONSTITUTION:The main electrodes 5 and 6 of the same area are attached symmetrically and opposite to both surfaces of the quartz plate 1 and then connected to the pin terminals 81 and 81' of the base board 8 to be supported there by the support lines 9 and 9' composed of the conductors connected to the electrodes 5 and 6 respectively. The frequency controlling electrode 7 having a larger area than the main electrode 6 is formed including the said electrode on the electrode 6 of one side. The equivalent inductance of the oscillator having the above-mentioned structure is decided almost by the area of the other electrode 5 to which no electrode 7 is attached. As the electrode 7 is larger than the main electrode, the energy enclosing effect's affection is reduced although a mass material is attached to the electrode 7. As a result, the variation can be reduced for the equivalent inductance.
