PURPOSE:To prevent looking-over of other channel programs, by checking the still picture program on other channels through the use of waiting time of the still picture during the reception of the still picture of a desired channel and enabling to switch the program on other channels. CONSTITUTION:The content of the switching circuit 26 connected to the keyboard 27 is selected to position C, the desired channel code is stored in the latch circuit 24, and the channel code detected at the channel code detection circuit 12 and the code from the circuit 24 are fed to the judgement circuit 13 via the switching circuit 26. Further, other channel code from the board 27 is stored in the latch circuit 25 through switching of the circuit 26 and inputted to the circuit 13 via the circuit 26. The circuit 13 compares the code detected at the circuit 12 and that stored from the circuits 24, 25, and when in agreement, the discrimination signal (f) is output from the counter circuit 21 to select the still picture at the picture selection circuit 3. Further, during the reception of the program on the 1st channel, the program of the 2nd channel can be checked by using the waiting time period. |
