The patterned bricks with a vitreous concavo-convex surface are optionally producible by applying 1,300≦̸C-1,500≦̸C heat of acetylene to the surface of a piece of brick. Those bricks are made by a mixture containing blast-furnace slag 70 %, ocher 29.5%, insulation material 0.10%, water-proofing material 0.35%, high-early strength material 0.05% and a small amount of dye.
