PURPOSE:To enable a machine to be applied to molding of an insulated conductor of various size and equalize pressure of the insulated conductor per unit area of each surface, by a method wherein notching angle is made 0.4-1.6 times of the ideal angle specified by the Formula. CONSTITUTION:Non-cured insulation layer 2 including thermosetting resin is wound on outer circumference of a conductor 1 having rectangular cross-section. A pair of L-shaped members 3 are abutted to the insulation layer 2 so that corners 3a, 3b of the L-shaped member 3 are arranged on diagonal vertexes 2a, 2b. The corners 3a, 3b are inserted to notched portion 4a of an angle jig 4. Ideal notching angle theta is specified by equation. Wherein H is length of longer side of the insulated conductor cross-section, and W is length of shorter side. Position of a bolt 6 allows the angle jig to move in the longitudinal direction within an inserting groove 5, and the bolt 6 is tightened by a nut 10 through a spring 9. The insulation layer 2 in each surface is pressed uniformly and the insulation thickness is finished equally. If the notching angle is 0.4-1.6 times of the ideal angle theta, performance of the insulated conductor little varies. |
