摘要 <p>A workpiece holding state detecting system which controls a robot in accordance with preinstructed instruction data and puts an unmachined workpiece in the chuck of a lathe for a robot controller. In this system, sensors for (WDS, SG) detecting the state the workpiece (WK) is put into chucks (CHK1, CHK2), such as confronting state or centering state, are provided at the chucks or on the robot to detect an improperly mounted state.</p>
