PURPOSE:To extract printed samples or the like, by providing a fixing cam at an end part of a paper delivery and conveyance device and a switching cam before the fixing cam, opening a paper delivery pawl, which is passed by the switching of the cam, by the fixing cam when the paper is extracted, and delivering the paper. CONSTITUTION:When the printed samples or the like ar4 extracted during the printing operation, a locking handle is unlocked, a switching handle shaft 27 is rotated, and the switching cam 25 is switched to the position shown by a solid line. Then the paper delivering pawl 19 passes in a closed state. It is opened when a roller 22 contacts with the fixing cam 34, and the paper 5 is released from the paper delivery pawl 19. At this time, the free end of a paper guide 47 is protruded to the paper delivery pawl 19. Therefore the paper is delivered into a delivered paper receiver 39 along the lower surface of the guide 47 by inertia. The paper 5 going to fly up is forced to be fed downward by the guide 47. Air is blown to the paper surface between the neighboring paper guides 47 from an air nozzle 52 from the upper side, and the papaer 5 is not floated but is settled. Thus the amount of generating defective sheets of papaer can be reduced. |
