A joining arrangement (1) for extended scaffolding elements (4,5) in building scaffolding is intended to join one end (3) of one scaffolding element (4) to one end (9) of another scaffolding element (5). A first part of the joining arrangement forms a female component (2) and a second part of the joining arrangement forms a male component (9) which, in the joined state, extends inside the female component. The female component and the male component exhibit joining surfaces extending essentially concentrically with one another and facing towards one another. The joining surfaces are so dimensioned as to cause a space (17) to be formed between them, and one of the joining surfaces exhibits at least one set of at least three peripheral, symmetrically positioned and radially facing local areas (18, 19) raised above said joining surface. These form load-bearing supporting organs located at a certain distance from one another for the opposing joining surface (21). |
