PURPOSE:To obtain a recorded image low in fog and stabilized in density even after being left in a nonrecorded state for a long time, by stirring a 2-component dry type developer for a prescribed time before the start of recording after supplying power. CONSTITUTION:Power is supplied to a recording device, the heater of a fixing device is energized, preliminary rotation for uniformizing the surface of a photoreceptor is executed, and its rotation is stopped till the photoreceptor 1 reaches a potential not causing toner to attach to the surface. When a motor 26 is actuated, the toner fed from a toner feeder 13 is stirred with screws 23, 24, and when it is judged for a fixing device reaches a prescribed temp., preliminary rotation of a developing device 4 is ended. Since the developer is stirred after the toner has come not to attach to the surface of the photoreceptor by using the waiting time of the recording device, an image having sufficient density can be recorded even after the developer has been left for a long time. |
