<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible that the operator gets off a terminal device immediately after issuing a stop request, by operating the terminal to give the operation stop request to a center electronic computer when the use of the terminal device is terminated and turning off automatically an electric power source of the terminal device. CONSTITUTION:A TSS terminal device 12 includes a microprocessor 22 connected to a bus 24. A keyboard controller 28 which controls a keyboard 26, a CRT controller 32 which controls a CRT 30, a communication controller 34 connected to an MODEM 16, and a memory 36 are connected to the bus 24. Operations of the whole of the TSS terminal device 12 are controlled by controlware of the memory 36, and the device 12 transmits and receives data to and from an electronic computer 10 by commands of the microprocessor 22. The terminal device is provided with a power source control circuit 38 connected to the bus 24 so that the power source of the terminal device itself is turned off when the operation stop command is received.</p> |
