NEW MATERIAL:A cell fusion strain producing a monoclonal antibody exhibiting interspecies cross-reactivity and having the following characteristics: (A) It has reaction specificity to the I-E/C subregion gene product in the I region gene of the mouse main histocompatibility gene complex (H-2 complex), (B) it reacts with human lymphocyte cells, (C) it has the ability to bond with the complement, and (D) the isotype is IgG, the heavy chain is Y2b and the light chain is x. USE:Rejection suppressing agent for the histoincompatibility of the transplantation of the tissue or organ. PREPARATION:An A.TH mouse is immunized by the transplantation of the skin of an A.TL mouse or the peritoneal infusion of the lymphocytes of said mouse. The pancreatic cell of the immunizd mouse is fused with the tumor plasma cell of a mouse, and the fused cell is proliferated and separated. The cells containing a specific antibody is selected from the proliferated cell and the cell fusion strain is established.
