PURPOSE:To improve both adaptability and performance for a store system of local area network by storing the local area circuit network to the highway of the same interface via a rate adaptor. CONSTITUTION:A digital exchange 1 is connected to a line concentrator 2 via a time division multiplexed highway. A local area circuit network LAN5 can have a bus form or a loop form. A rate adaptor 3 matches the bit rate with 64Kb/s, for example. For instance, the sounds or data of 9.6Kb/s are matched with 64Kb/s, i.e., the standard speed of the exchange 1, then sent directly to the exchange 1 via the highway through the LAN5. While the sound or data fed from the exchange 1 are matched with 9.6Kb/s, for example, by the adaptor 3, then sent to the LAN5. |
