PURPOSE:To change easily the display contents and functions of a keyboard and to improve the operability of a multi-function telephone set, by connecting a keyboard control unit to the keyboard and a control circuit by means of a magnetic sucking part and an electrical connector. CONSTITUTION:When another function is desired for a keyboard unit 8; a keyboard unit/control unit 9 is removed and another unit 9 is connected. In other words, a connector 11 and a magnetic junction plate 13 are attached to the side surface of the unit 9 together with a connector 10 corresponding to the inside of a groove formed to the side surface of the main body 14 of a telephone set and a magnetic junction plate 12. Thus connectors 10 and 11 can be fitted to each other by pushing just the unit 9 and are fixed by the plates 12 and 13. This facilitate an easy replacement of the unit 9. In addition, the unit 9 is constituted with a logical circuit to perform the exchange of data between the unit 8 and a control circuit 3. Thus it is possible to change the function of a keyboard with no change of its external form. |
