PURPOSE:To replace a valve part structure with a ceramic valve without scrapping the existing faucet body, by making a valve unit consisting of two sheets of ceramic valve plates insertable into a cylindrical body of the faucet body. CONSTITUTION:A valve unit A consists of a spindle 11 being rotatably supported inside a casing 10, a ceramic first valve plate 13 to be tightly attached to a lower end of the said spindle and a ceramic second valve plate 14 to be slidably set up on a lower surface of the first valve plate 13 to be tightly attached to a lower end of the casing 10. After such a valve body or the like condemned is removed from the existing faucet body 106, only the valve unit A is inserted into a cylindrical body 108 and the casing 10 is locked by a cap 41, it is replaceable to a new valve structure without scrapping the existing faucet body 106. |
