PURPOSE:To make a compression test with high precision continuously under various conditions by combining the cam mechanism adjusting and setting the position of a ram with the crank sliding mechanism driving the ram and compressing a test piece. CONSTITUTION:A testing device is composed of the crank sliding mechanism consisting of a fixed upper ram 20 and a movable lower ram 30 compressing the test piece W, a crank 26, a connecting rod 25, a slide 24, etc., and making the lower ram 30 to make the vertical motion, the cam mechanism consisting of an eccentric cam 35, cam base 31, position detector 40, etc., and adjusting and setting the position of the lower cam 30, and motors 50, 51, etc. Then, the upper ram 20 is fixed to the frame of the device and the lower ram 30 is made to make the vertical reciprocating motion by the crank sliding mechanism and also, its position is set at the time of no load by the cam mechanism to compress the test piece W by the both rams 20 and 30. Thus, the stepwise and continuous compression test with high precision allowed an optional compression pattern can be made. |
