PURPOSE:To keep high-speed logic operation and to prevent voltage noises by providing a rectifier element having a voltage clamp capability with respect to an input signal voltage to improve the switching characteristic to a large amplitude input signal. CONSTITUTION:A Schottky barrier diode DC has a voltage clamp capability with respect to an input signal voltage, clamps a base potential of a transistor (TR) Q1 to a high potential by an anode-cathode forward voltage of the diode DC from a potential V5 of a reference voltage applying terminal 5 when the input signal changes largely to decrease remarkably the collector potential change of a drive current specifying TRQS. Thus, the saturation of the input TRQ1 due to a transient current at the charging of a collector-substrate junction capacitor Ccs and a collector-base junction capacitance Cjc of the TRQS is prevented. Further, the discharge time of the Ccs, Cjc is decreased remarkably to keep the high-speed logic operation. The voltage noises at a constant voltage applying terminal 6 induced through the Cjc of the TRQS are reduced remarkably.
