Provided is an indoor unit 1 of an air conditioning system. The indoor unit 1, by means of an indoor fan 6, blows out from an exhaust port 5 conditioned air obtained by heat-exchange from a heat exchanger 3 that uses a slightly combustible refrigerant or a combustible refrigerant having a specific gravity higher than that of air. The indoor unit 1 is provided with: a refrigerant sensor 8 that detects a leaking refrigerant; and an exhaust port opening/closing mechanism capable of closing a part of the exhaust port 5. When the refrigerant sensor 8 detects leakage of the refrigerant, the indoor fan 6 is driven in the state where the part of the exhaust port 5 is closed by the exhaust port opening/closing mechanism. |
