PURPOSE:To obtain a substrate for the photographic printing paper having a back coating suitable to a developing treatment and having a good writing property by providing a gelatin layer contg. an org. white pigment and a curing agent on the back surface of the substrate which is a photographic printing paper having a water-resisting property, and is coated with a polyolefin on both surfaces thereof. CONSTITUTION:The titled paper is prepared by providing a gelatin layer contg. the org. white pigment composed of the fine particles of the heat-curable resin and porous plastic particles, and at least one of the curing agents of gelatin selected from the group comprising an active vinyl, an active halogen, an epoxy, a methane sulfonic acid ester, a carbodiimido, an isoxazole, an active ester, an isocyanate and an inorg. type compds. on the back surface of the substrate which is a photographic printing paper having a water-resisting property. The titled paper which has a good fitness of the developing treatment and a suitable whiteness after developing, and has a good writing property against various kinds of writing goods is obtd. |
