<p>The discharge for a flushing cistern comprises a main valve body which, due to the release actuation of an auxilliary valve, due to a negative water balance created in a discharge chamber associated with the main valve body, is lifted off its seat. The discharge chamber is associated with an additional auxilliary valve which can be opened at least briefly, by an interruption actuation of the actuating device for the auxilliary valve. In this manner a positive water balance up to the closure of the main valve body can be brought about in the discharge chamber. The flushing action of such a discharge valve for a flushing cistern, with an auxilliary valve, may thus be interrupted prematurely. Advantageously, a change-over device is provided in the connection between the actuating device and the additional auxilliary valve by which the additional auxilliary valve is rendered movable from any prevailing terminal position into the opposite terminal position by the actuating movement. As a result both the release as well as the interruption actuation can be brought about by pressure strokes in the same direction. This improves the user convenience and permits the employment of remote controls of simple designs.</p> |
