1. Ignition distributor for an internal-combustion engine, of the type comprising a housing (1) fastened directly to the crankcase, a sealing membrane (9) covering the housing (1), a distribution rotor (10), the base (11) of which passes through the membrane (9) and the bottom of the housing (1) to be fitted on the end of a crank shaft or cam shaft, a distribution head (15) closing the housing (1), at the same time gripping the membrane (9), characterized in that the sealing membrane (9) consists of a diaphragm which is gripped between the housing (1) and the head (15) previously joined together and which is composed of a plurality of elastically deformable lamellae (20) which, extending from a circular collar (22), converge towards the axis XX' of the distributor and move aside during the passage of the rotor (10) previously fitted on the end of a cam shaft or crank shaft, subsequently reforming round the base (11) of the said rotor (10). |
