PURPOSE:To omit the use of a special device and the control of each user by obtaining the value showing an adequate device from the information on the defective track, defective sector, etc. of a fixed disk device. CONSTITUTION:If no method is secured to obtain the defective information from an operating system, the reading tests are supplied to all tracks and sectors on a disk for production of the defective information. Then the relevant part is changed into a special format which always has an error in order to secure a fact that an error is surely produced also in the next reading mode. The produced defective information is buried into a program. In such a case, the information is loaded to a fixed disk with a program initial code 10. Then a defective map program 11 serving as the information on the disk 1 is read out and all tracks and sectors of the disk 1 are tested for production of the defective information. Then this defective information is buried into the program for re-editing of the program. This program is rewritten on the disk 1. |
