PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fare box which allows inserted bank bills to be visually seen from both of a crew and a passenger.SOLUTION: A housing 11 of a fare box 10 comprises a confirmation window 12a which allows a predetermined range of a conveyance path provided in the middle of a path before a bank bill 110 inserted to a bank bill reception part 14 is stored in a bank bill storage part 25 of a safe 24 to be visually seen from above the outside of the bare box 10. A control unit 70 for controlling conveyance of the bank bill 110 by a conveyance mechanism 30 stops conveyance of the bank bill 110 when the bank bill 110 being conveyed reaches the predetermined range. Thus, the bank bill 110 inserted in the fare box 10 being conveyed stops temporarily in the predetermined range of the conveyance path, so that the bank bill 110 can be seen from the confirmation window 12a. When release information is input, conveyance of the bank bill 110 is resumed, so that the bank bill 110 is stored in the bank bill storage part 25 without delay.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
