<p>PURPOSE:To impart excellent heat shock resistance, abrasion resistance, weathering resistance, etc., to the surface of a molding, by applying a protective film comprising a specified first film and a specified second film to the surface of a molding of a plastic, especially polyethylene terephthalate. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a plastic molding is protected by forming the following first film (i) on the surface of the molding and forming the following second film (ii) on said first film. Film (i) comprises 5-80pts.wt. acryl polyol (A), 95-20pts.wt. polalkyl methacrylate (B) and 0.5-20 equivalent, per equivalent of the hydroxyl groups of (A), of the isocyanate groups, of an isocyanate compound (C). Film (ii) comprises 10-90pts.wt. organosilanetriol of the formula: R<1>Si(OH)3 (Wherein R<1> is a monovalent group selected from the group consisting of 1-3C alkyl groups and aryl groups) and/or its partial condensate (D0 and 90-10pts.wt. colloidal silica (E).</p> |
