PURPOSE:To enlarge a trip effect and to improve the S/N by inserting a band pass filter for making the frequency of an interference wave to a chrominance signal a pass band in one part of the feedback system of a chroma emphasis circuit operating during the reproduction. CONSTITUTION:During a recording, a chroma signal is supplied to a trap circuit 1 through an R contact and to an adder 3 through a limiter circuit 2 and during a reproduction, it is converted to a normal chroma signal by an up-converter 5, a part is fed back through the P contact of the switch S, the trap circuit 1, the limiter circuit 2, so that a signal component which is the low level signal component of a carrier chrominance signal and a band is widened is relatively suppressed and returned to the original and normal chrome signal. In this case, a filter circuit 7 is connected to a feedback system, during the conversion of the frequency, a pilot signal generating a beat interference to the chroma signal and a beat frequency by an AFM signal or the like are extracted and subtracted from the carrier chrominance signal in an adder 8. |
