PURPOSE:To high accurately adjust a stroke, by housing a stopper, which freely changes the stroke of a rod, longitudinally movably in a cylinder tube. CONSTITUTION:A stroke adjusting stopper 7 is longitudinally movably housed in a cylinder tube 2, and a rotary unit 14, which is housed in a rod cover 4 opposed to said stopper 7, is screwed by a thread to the stopper 7. In this way, the work, in which plural kinds of strokes are necessary, can be performed by a single cylinder by enabling the stroke of a rod to be freely changed by the stopper 7. While the stroke can be very high accurately adjusted because the stopper 7 can be longitudinally moved by a thread mechanism.
