PURPOSE:To improve the operating efficiency of a keyboard to attain input of words and paragraphs just with push of the register and read control keys as well as the corresponding numbers of a display part in case the same word and same paragraph are to be inputted for several times. CONSTITUTION:When several inputs are required for the same word and same paragraph during the operation of a keyboard 1, an alphameric key or a symbol key is pushed at a key part 2 after a register control key is pushed. Then the key data 10 is converted into the bit serial data 11 by a control part 3 and supplied to a keyboard interface part 7 as well as to a device connected to the part 7. At the same time, a memory control part 6 is actuated. Thus the data 11 is stored in a memory part 4 in the form of the memory data 13 and displayed on a display part 5. Then the number corresponding to the word or paragraph displayed on the part 5 is pushed after both register and read control keys are pushed. Thus the input is possible for said same word or paragraph.
