PURPOSE:To produce a granular silicone rubber having fine and uniform form at a low energy cost, by producing a liquid silicone rubber composition mixed at a low temperature, spraying the composition into a hot air of a specific temperature and curing the composition in sprayed state. CONSTITUTION:Constituent components of a liquid silicone rubber composition, preferably (A) an organopolysiloxane having >=2 lower alkenyl groups in one molecule, (B) an organopolysiloxane having >=2 hydrogen atoms bonded to silicon atom in one molecule (the total number of alkenyl groups per 1 molecule of the component A and hydrogen atoms per 1 molecule of the component B is >=5) and (C) a platinum-based catalyst at an amount of 0.1-1,000pts.(wt.) per 1 million pts. of the sum of the components A and B are mixed with each other at -60-+5 deg.C. The obtained composition is sprayed into hot air of +80-+200 deg.C and cured in the sprayed state to obtain the objective granular silicone rubber. |
