PURPOSE:To improve the aging stability of a color developing soln. such as the preservability and the processing stability and to reduce a change in photographic performance such as an increase in the fog of a dye image or a rise in the contrast of the shoulder by adding a compound represented by a prescribed general formula. CONSTITUTION:A color developing soln. contg. a compound represented by the general formula is used. Though the color developing soln. does not contain a hydroxylamine salt as a preservative, the aging stability of the soln. such as the preservability is improved, a change in photographic performance such as an increase in the fog of a dye image or a rise in the contrast of the shoulder is reduced, cyan density is hardly changed and the processing stability is also improved. In the formula, R1 is alkoxy substituted 1-5C alkyl and R2 is 1-5C alkyl or alkoxy substituted 1-5C alkyl. |
