PURPOSE:To always stably obtain a satisfactory image by setting ventilation or/and suction means to an electric conduction/operation state for a prescribed time after an image formation is ended, after a main power source switch of a device is turned off, and after a jam is generated, etc. CONSTITUTION:Ventilation by a ventilation use fan 3 is started simultaneously with a rotation start of a drum 1 in an image forming operation, and an uneven electric discharge is prevented by preventing a toner and dust, etc., from adhering to a corona discharge wire of a corona discharge device 2. Also, a suction fan 13 is also started simultaneously with a rotation start of the drum 1, and together with a suction effect by this fan 13, exhaust of ozone, etc., in the corona discharge device 2 by a cross flow fan 3 is effectively executed. A motor power source of the fan 3 and the fan 13 is separated from ON and OFF of a main power source switch of a printer body, and driven at least for 30min or longer desirably for 2hr or longer by a timer control of a control part after the rotation of the fan 3 and the fan 13 is stopped. In such a way, a satisfactory image can always be outputted stably. |
