The present invention relates to a device for assembling optical fibres and, more particularly, a device making it possible to arrange a plurality of optical fibres into a bundle and to hold them in this arrangement. The device of the invention essentially includes a deformable ferrule 4 loosely joining together a plurality of optical fibres. This ferrule 4 is pushed into the restriction of a cylindrical body 1 having a central taper bore 10, which distributes the optical fibres into their ideal geometrical position.
