A spring-tension mounting (10) for radiators equipped with suspension tongues or seam running all the way round is described, consisting of an elongated fastening-surface part (12) with perforations (14, 16, 18) for attaching the mounting (10) to a wall surface, wall bracket, stand bracket or the like, a lower tongue- or seam-receiving part (20) which projects at the lower end of the fastening-surface part (12) and has an indentation (22) for receiving a lower tongue or seam of the radiator, and a tongue- or seam-receiving part (32) which emanates from the upper end of the fastening-surface part (12) and is displaceable, along the longitudinal axis of the fastening-surface part, against spring force (30) from a first position into a second, lockable position, which tongue- or seam-receiving part (32) likewise has an indentation (34) for receiving an upper tongue or seam of the radiator, the upper tongue- or seam-receiving part allows, by being pulled out against the force of the spring (30) and pivoted forwards into a locked position permitting insertion of a radiator, ... and that by displacement of said tongue- or seam-receiving part by means of the radiator back towards the fastening surface, the receiving part is released from its locked position and during this grips the tongue or seam of the radiator.
