The spatula is of conventional shape, with a flexible blade attached to a handle extension. The blade is double one part being bent back with its free end towards the handle, while the other blade goes straight on in the usual way. The bend can be at an acute angle or with an arched section at less than 180 deg. Between the initial and end zones of the bent blade are stays or set squares which act as reinforcers to keep the position of the active edge unchanged during use.
