Screw-free connection of the handle shells of a double-shell housing for an electric tool

The connection of the two shell halves forming the handle part is effected, as a rule, by means of screws in the case of electric tools. To mount and detach the two handle shells, tools are required. The new connection does not require any screws and thereby enables a shortening of the mounting time and optimal shaping of the handle part. One handle-shell half (1) has at least one resilient tongue (3, 4) which projects beyond the separating plane (6), is equipped with a snap-in lug (2, 3) and is assigned a snap-in opening (14, 15) formed on the other shell half.
