A fair stand, in particular for exhibiting doors with drives and drop-down safeguard for garages and the like, can be used universally, can be assembled and dismantled in modular fashion and is stable and can be subjected to a high degree of loading. It comprises filigree load-bearing members which are connected to one another in an aligned manner and adjoin one another in the direction of their longitudinal axis or in the direction transverse thereto. Each filigree load-bearing member is square or rectangular in profile and is composed of round bars which are spaced apart from one another in parallel and define the edges of a cuboidal body, and of transverse bars which run in a zigzag manner between the round bars and define the surfaces of said cuboidal body. The abovementioned bars are preferably made of a structural seal and are connected to one another by weld connections.
