发明名称 IGNITION TIMING CONTROL DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the frequent occurrence of knocking and to prevent unnecessary lowering of an engine output by a method wherein a waiting period after completion of knocking is set to a proper value, and the period is varied according to an intake air temperature. CONSTITUTION:An ignition timing set means 4 inputs outputs from a number of revolutions of engine detecting means 1 and an engine load state detecting means 2 to set the ignition timing of an engine. The ignition timing means inputs an output from a knocking detecting means 3 and performs delay correction of an ignition timing when knocking is detected and effects advance correction of the ignition timing after elapse of a given waiting period when knocking is completed. Meanwhile, an intake air temperature detecting means 6 to detect the temperature of air sucked by an engine is arranged in a position on the engine, the ignition timing set means 4 inputs an output from the detecting means 6, and varies a waiting period according to the output value. This constitution properly returns an ignition timing to the advance angle side as knocking is prevented from reoccurring and prevents incurring of an unnecessary loss to an engine output.
