<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the road noise without dropping the stability in maneuvering, by interposing a damping material between the winding end of a carcass layer and the body part, and specifying the thickness of the damping material, JIS hardness, and Luepke's repulsive modulus of elasticity. CONSTITUTION:A pneumatic tire concerned is provided with a bead part, in which a carcass layer 3 is wound outward from inside of the tire around a bead core 1 and a bead filler 2. Therein a damping material 6 is interposed between an outer carcass layer (carcass layer winding part) 4 and an inner carcass layer (carcass layer body) 5. The damping material 6 is formed from for ex. a rubber sheet, and its thickness shall be set over 0.8 mm, JIS hardness below 90, and Luepke's repulsive modulus of elasticity below 45%. This allows suppressing of vibration transmission under running from the inner carcass layer 5 to the outer carcass layer 4, and also reduces vibrational transmission to the rim to cause reduction of the road noise.</p> |
