METHOD FOR WEIGHTING PATIENT IN RECUMBENCY

A method for weighting patient in recumbent position prescribes preliminary placement of patient on a stretcher. To weight the patient in recumbent position medical weighing machine is used, with additional equipment as a platform arranged as a frame, this by the value and the form corresponds to the load platform of the medical weighing machine. At that side rails are fixed on the frame, there posts with trough for installation of stretcher in lifted position with respect to the load platform of the machine are mounted. The patient’s body mass is determined through subtraction from the reading of the weight of the sum corresponding to the weight of the stretcher and the platform.
