A device for use in draining fluid from a container through a drain hole 13 disposed therein, which can be sealed by means of a threaded, bowl-shaped plug 17 having an outwardly open, cylindrical cavity 19 and two projections 20 which jut into the latter and are situated diametrically one directly in front of the other, comprises a housing 10 which can be fitted over the said hole 13 and a tool 45 which serves manual handling of the plug 17, which tool has a plug holder 48 provided with gripping members 65, which can be introduced into the cavity 19 of the plug 17, for detachable securement of the plug 17. For the purpose of eliminating drawbacks which occur with previously known such devices, the gripping members 65 are set up to secure the plug 17 to the plug holder 48 through detachable engagement with the said two projections 20 of the plug 17. <IMAGE> |
