PURPOSE:To stably perform a high accurate and a high speed seek operation by holding the target speed of relative speed control in a target direction and deciding the target speed so that the average inclination of an actuator may be reduced at the same time. CONSTITUTION:By the command of a seek command generation means 15, the output of a relative speed control means 14 is selected by a first selection means 16 and a prescribed traverse drive value b is selected by a second selection means 17. A target speed decision means 13 decides the target speed of the relative speed control so that the average inclination of a tracking actuator 4 may be reduced using the inclination information of a tracking inclination detection means 12. A relative speed control means 14 compares actual relative speed with the target speed decided by the target speed decision means 13 and performs the relative speed control so that the actual speed may be equal with the target speed. Thus, the tracking actuator can be made to position almost center of a machine regardless of disk eccentricity or the dispersion in traverse mechanics. |
