PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for facilitating the setting of a bias voltage applied to an STJ element.SOLUTION: A control device 50 of a terahertz wave detector 1 for detecting a terahertz wave coming from an inspection object T with a superconducting tunnel junction element (STJ element) applies calibration processing to a beam condensing device 20 as a wave receiving unit of the terahertz wave detector 1 when the terahertz wave is radiated and when it is not radiated. In the calibration processing, a bias voltage for detection is set on the basis of the current value of a detection signal current flowing through the STJ element when a bias voltage of each of a plurality of voltage values is applied to the STJ element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
