The invention relates to novel compositions intended, in particular, for the treatment of ocular hypertension and glaucoma. It relates specifically to pharmaceutical compositions for ocular application, which contain as active principle at least one compound having a pregnene structure chosen from the group consisting of: - the compounds of general formula I <IMAGE> - the compounds of general formula II <IMAGE> - the compounds of general formula III <IMAGE> in which formulae the substituents R, R1 and R2 have the meanings given in the description in combination or mixed with a pharmaceutically acceptable, inert excipient or vehicle intended for ocular administration. The pharmaceutical compositions according to the invention are used as medicaments. |
