Echogenic particles contg. a gas and a substance or mixt. of substances to give shape that are biologically degradable and/or can be excreted and which can pass the lungs in the circulating blood of vertebrates have essentially smooth surfaces and a shape made up of no or 1-10 concave surface segments, or have surfaces which are not smooth and a shape made up of 1-10 concave surface segments.
