<p>A golf putter which makes it possible to perform a putting operation in a set and correct direction while minimizing an error at the time of face alignment of a putter head. When a face (6) of a putter head (3) is aligned with the direction of a cup, a golf player can watch the pin under the state where he keeps his eyes on the upper surface of the putter head (3) without directing the face towards the pin. Therefore, when a line is straight towards the cup, the state where the player can watch the pin through the upper surface of the putter head (3) is set as the direction of the face (6) for putting. Next, after the pin is pulled out, the putter head (3) is set to the back side of the ball without changing the face (6), the putter head (3) is pulled straight in the orthogonal direction to the face (6) so set, and the putting operation is performed in such a manner as to swing the putter without changing the direction. In this way, the golf player need not direct his eyes towards the pin when face alignment of the putter head (3) is made.</p> |
