Reference marker for optical localisation system

The marker includes at least one optical signal generator which is arranged on a part (20) to be localised. The signal generator includes an optical source of energy (4) and an optical wave conductor (12). The optical conductor is coupled with one end (10) to the optical source of energy, and with the other end (18) to the part to be localised. The optical source of energy is preferably a laser, such as a plastic-pulse laser, and that an optical patch element is inserted in the optic wave conductor.
