When four panels (2) are fitted together through grooves (4) and centering strips (5) to form a square design the underneaths (7) of the panels facing the ground (6) have detent grooves (10) which run parallel to the side faces of the panels facing the intersecting gap. Spring beads (13) having a rectangular outline are jammed in the detent grooves on the two narrow sides and on one wide side of a plate-like stabilizing element (14) which covers the intersecting gap on the underneath. The stabilizing element can be made of stainless steel or recyclable plastics.
