Removable bar code label, useful to avoid lifting heavy or voluminous purchases to cashier's bar code reader

Removable section of label carries a copy of the appropriate bar code with a full description of the parent article in plain writing. The article also has the same bar code printed upon it. The removable portion of label is presented to the cashier for bar code reader. Perforations (1.3,1.4) enable separation of removable label section (1) with bar code and description from the label base (2) with bar code which remains on the article.
