PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more easily and more quickly perform the design change and reduce the manpowers for assembly and the cost. SOLUTION: A remote control device 10 comprises an upper case 13 having a faceplate 12 on the upper surface, a lower case 14; a substrate 15 having a control circuit in the internal space formed by both the plate, a plurality of switches 16, a plurality of rubber tops 17a constituting operation buttons 17 set above the substrate, the rubber tops 17a being exposed to the outside through rubber button holes 12a formed on the top plate 12 in such a manner as to be vertically movable, and a transmitting part for transmitting a control signal from the control circuit by depressing operation. A cutout hole 18a and a faceplate locking hole 18b are formed on the upper case 13, and a hook 12b is formed on the faceplate 12, so that the faceplate 12 is fixed to the upper case 13 to block the cutout hole 18a by inserting and fitting the hook 12b to the faceplate locking hole 18b.
