Two optical ducts provide a first and second part-image at least of one visual sample. The optical ducts are combined by an optical component. The optical duct belonging to the second part-image can be switched on and off. The sample in the second optical duct is lit by a light which can be switched on and off for a short time. The two optical ducts after being combined in the housing, are deflected at a point where they are combined with a third optical duct.
