PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixed structure of a lid body for stopping a hole which eliminates the need for machining a welding bead. SOLUTION: A fitting part 32 of a lid body 30 for stopping is fitted into a hole 11 to be stopped, and the end of the fitting part 32 is welded on the circumferential surface 11a of the hole 11. In a fixed structure of the lid body 30 for stopping the hole thus arranged, an end rim positioned on the side of the circumferential surface 11a of the hole 11 is cut off at the fitting part 32 of the lid body 30 for stopping the hole, and an imbedding weld is applied into a circular recessed groove 60 formed by the cut part 34 and the circumferential surface 11a of the examination hole 11.
